A Bit of History

From 1977 through 2000, Mr. & Mrs. Rutter owned an accounting and tax practice in Findlay, Ohio. Their practice served approximately 1,100 active tax clients and 240 commercial business accounts. During their 25 plus years operating the CPA practice, a niche was developed for litigation support, business valuation & merger and acquisitions work. In October 2000, the accounting and tax practice was sold to a regional CPA and consulting firm.

The firm Grover Rutter CPA, ABV, CVA, BVAL Business Brokerage, Valuation & Consulting was established in November, 2000, in order to allow the firm to specialize and concentrate energies into the Business Valuation, and Business Brokerage arenas.
